Television is a medium that’s filled with glorious uncertainties. Five months after she quit <em> Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki </em>, Reena Kapoor is coming back into the show that made her a household name. Reena’s return brings a sad end for rookie actor Neha Janpandit, who had stepped in as Rani after the incumbent Reena had quit. Reena had earlier quit the show because she wasn’t comfortable with the generational leap which would have made her look older than her age.

For several weeks, Reena Kapoor maintained that she was in a dilemma whether to quit <em> Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki </em> or not? Well, she has finally made up her mind. Reena’s decided to quit the show. Reena’s departure is also resulting in a change of track with the show opting for a generation leap. Confirming the news, Reena says, “yes, there will be a generation leap but I’m not going to be a part of it. I didn’t want to play an older character thus I chose to quit the show.”
