Its party time for Pariva Pranati, the protagonist of Sony’s of <em> Salaam Zindgi</em>. The actress is celebrating her birthday. She has turned 25 today and has some exciting plans for the day. “My family is working today so I’ll be celebrating my birthday with my few friends. I’ll be chilling with them the whole day and my family will join me at dinner,” says Pariva.

Abhay Vakil who is currently seen in <em> Salaam Zindgi </em> is going to head his father’s business after his death last month. He is not quitting television but waiting for a meaty role to come his way. “I lost my father last month and now his business has going for a toss. I need to concentrate on that first,” says Abhay.

Sony's new cop show is soon to go off air. It's being said that the TRPs of the show were declining day by day and thus the channel decided to pull it off air. We called up Pariva aka Manya, the lead protagonist, to confirm the news. "Yes, it's true that the show is going off air. I don't know the reason but I was already prepared for it," says Pariva. Elaborating further, she says, "From the day when this show started, I was ready for all this stuff. It's not that I didn't believe in this serial, but such kinds of serials are very challenging and find it tough to survive."

Ater his stint in <em> Sollah Sringaarr</em> on Sahara One, Manoje has bagged a meaty role in Sony’s new venture <em> Salaam Zindgi</em>. He’ll be playing the love interest of Manya Sharma (Pariva Pranati). “I took on this show as I liked the character Karan Verma. Besides it’s almost a parallel lead so the offer is all the more exciting,” says Manoje Elaborating on his character he says, “Karan is very straight- forward in life and he is always clear about what he wants. He is also very fun- loving and charming.”

Last seen in <em>Smriti’s Viruddh Pariva</em> is the lead actress in Sony’s new cop show, <em>Salaam Zindgi</em>. After playing a cameo and an important character in a few shows, the bubbly actress is all ready with her new avatar in a khakhi uniform. After <em>Kuch is tara</em> Sony launches a new show Salaam Zindgi which will replace <em>Thodi Khushi Thode Gham</em>. The story will showcase the emotional and engaging journey of a young, vivacious girl who becomes a resilient police inspector.
