TV celebs and their Eid memories

TV celebs and their Eid memories
It certainly not just the day of Eid that elicits the feeling of elation within the celebrants however it is the Holy month of Ramzan as a whole that concludes the feast of breaking the fast. Televisions many a celebrities too concurred to the same opinion of thought. Mull over as they share their memories with regards to Eid and its significance. Ayaz Ahmed: Ramzan had a special essence of spirituality and delight. I cannot forget the Ramzan sweets and especially once the food was cooked the aroma was to die for, now that I am recollecting those days my mouth waters. In fact I never slept at all. All I would do is roam around in the night, shop a lot on the next day and have fun. I still remember the tasty biryani and sewaya that my mother used to prepare, they were the best. I so wish that those days to come back. It’s not that this Eid is going to be something different; it’s going to be somewhat the same. The best part as a kid was that I used to collect lots of eidi and it was utter fun to do so. Sana Khan: Back then during my childhood days I used to call my friends over to my place and we used to have a jolly good time together celebrating Eid. Those were one of my most memorable days, hard to forget. They are a completely different set of memories altogether. Now that I’ve turned more mature the celebration is more of a formal type. Sheek Kurma was and is still one of my favourite dishes that I used to relish during Eid and even today. Most importantly my outfits used to be purchased few days before itself and now I prefer wearing something that looks more formal as well as traditional at the same time. I however design my own clothes nowadays so I guess my outfit wouldn’t be an issue. Ruslaan Mumtaaz: Every single morning I used to wake up and head towards my aunt’s place for a filling breakfast with my dad. I was a little mischievous (giggles) at that age and I would only go out with my dad because I knew for sure that I would get something tasty to munch on. I used eat a lot; I kept munching over kheema pav so much so that I would fall ill. I would never mind though. It was pretty much like it and it is something I yet haven’t forgotten. I guess the food was the best part out of the entire festival. Aamir Ali: Eid has been very special and close to me since my childhood days. I used to receive eidi from my elders and that used to make me really happy. The food was simply outstanding. The evenings were the best part of my day; I used to munch on some sheekh kurma that dish was my favourite. Apart from this it was nothing much, this was all it was. And it was really out of the ordinary. Adaa Khan: What can I say about Eid, I have had a content experience more than a including it in my spiritual journey. I have always celebrated Eid to the fullest however this year I won’t be celebrating Eid as I would do earlier. After my mum expired I have kept everything on a low profile. Neither am I going to purchase new clothing for Eid and neither am I going to visit places like I used to.
