Saloni’s sibling misses out on Chhote Miyan 2

Its name and fame for one but disappointment for the other. The super kid Saloni Daini and her elder sister Pavni have been experiencing both ends of the spectrum. While the former is the youngest and most successful stand-up artiste in the country, the latter has failed to qualify for Chhote Miyan 2. Pavni’s younger sister had won the inaugural contest. A source associated with the show informs, “Saloni’s elder sister Pavni was among the 50 kids who had auditioned for Chhote Miyan season 2. She cleared the first auditions but failed to make the cut among the final 13 children who’ll contest in season 2. Saloni and her mother left the sets in tears yesterday. Perhaps, both were disappointed at Pavni not being chosen. It’s very sad but the competition is very tough and only the best talent has advanced.” When contacted, Pavni’s mother Sanyogita Daini said, “ My other daughter Pavni did audition for Chhote Miyan but we haven’t received any word from the creative team. So, I don’t see my daughter participating in the contest.” Hey Pavni, don’t lose heart, your time will surely come. Chhote Miyan 2 goes no air from 28 June at 8.00 pm on Colors.
