After the runaway success of his maiden show Bidaai , producer Rajan Shahi is in the hot seat. And more so when he is on the verge of announcing his second show. There is a great amount of curiosity surrounding the title of the show, the stars, and anything and everything to do with the show. A source from the channel informs that Rajan Shahi’s new show will be titled Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and the show is expected to start in the next two months.” The source adds, “ Yeh Rishta is not just a love story but it is that and much more. It is a journey of two families and their relationship. The show will not only concentrate on the relationship of the leads but also focus on other characters. Rajan is known to give due importance and focus to all the characters in Bidaai and this show will be no exception. This is a show about emotions, relationship and values and the ups and downs the characters of the show face in their life.” “The show has many new comers and the protagonist hails from Srinagar. The production house has worked very hard on grooming the girl and has worked on her looks, eyes, teeth and hair. She has gone through a month long acting class. The production house zeroed down on this girl after an intensive nation wide search. The male lead is also a newbie who will enter the show in the later stages. The show is set against the backdrop of Udaipur,” adds our source. Our source also informs, “Rajan has got in a complete new force working behind the show. The technical team includes Rajita Sharma who is the writer of the show; Romesh Kalra will be debuting as the series director with Yeh Rishta . He is currently directing Bidaai. Neeraj Baliyan who is the cameraman of Bidaai is the episode director of the show. And Jayant Deshmukh is designing the sets. The date of the telecast of the show is not yet confirmed but it will probably start next month.” When contacted, producer Rajan Shahi, refused to divulge any details.
