Anupamaa: Sheersha Tiwari kickstarts the shoot of the show, says, 'My first scene itself was with Rupali Ma’am and it was so fun shooting with her' - EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI: Star Plus' hit drama series Anupamaa is witnessing some interesting twists and turns in the story.

The viewers have seen so many new characters introduced in the show ever since the generation leap has happened.

While the existing characters are already impressing the viewers with their stellar performances, the makers are now gearing up for a new entry in the show which will spice up the drama.

It's already disclosed that actress Sheersha Tiwari is roped in for the show.

Sheersha will be portraying the role of Shivam Khajuria aka Prem's sister in the show.

When TellyChakkar contacted Sheersha, she confirmed the news and said, ''Yes, I have started shooting for Anupamaa and yesterday was my first day on set.''

She added, ''I was really excited. Met everyone on set and I felt really welcomed. My first scene itself was with Rupali Ma’am (aka Anupamaa) and it was so fun shooting with her.''

Shedding light on her character in the show, Sheersha said, ''About character, all that I can say right now is I’m entering as a mystery woman. My character name is Prarthna and she is somehow connected with Prem. But how she is connected, that is a mystery which you will get to know as the story escalates.''

Well, Sheersha's entry is going to bring more spice to the existing drama.
