MUMBAI: Star Plus' one of the most beloved shows - Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the television industry's second-longest-running Indian television soap opera.
Produced by Rajan Shahi, it initially starred Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as the main on-screen lead couple as Akshara and Naitik, who were blessed with 2 kids - an elder son Naksh and a younger daughter Naira. Once Hina Khan exited the show, the plot's limelight shifted on a grown-up Naira and her husband Kartik's on-screen love story and chemistry, whose characters were portrayed by telly stars, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan.
The next-gen lead couple of Kartik and Naira had graced the show in 2016 and are still active therein, however through different characters.
To be honest, the show initially used to focus on family relationships and values which well-served the visual satieties of the Indian viewers for almost 8 years, however, the new theme of importance was obviously Kartik-Naira's 'made-in-heaven' love story, which began setting major goals for the show's audience to believe in the existence of soulmates. This theme helped in elevating and expanding the show's immense popularity amid the Indian youngsters through Kartik-Naira's 'safe haven' and 'sizzling' chemistry.
Within a span of only 5 years (2016-2021), Kartik-Naira's romantic journey was also no less than a roller-coaster ride, which met an unfortunate mishap with Naira's death. Since then, Naira's place in Kartik's life is gradually being replaced by her doppelganger i.e. Sirat Shekhawat, who is also being played by Shivangi Joshi. Hence, there's no doubt about the reprisal of Kartik-Naira's beloved on-screen chemistry through Kartik-Sirat. Also, the involvement of many other characters and the drastic shift in the show's plot has helped rekindle Mohsin-Shivangi's on-screen chemistry with a different angle through Kartik and Sirat in the same show.
Both Mohsin and Shivangi are quite active on social media (especially on Instagram) and whenever they share new posts, they go viral in no time.
Talking about their popular posts, Mohsin's fans and followers are totally in awe of the dashing telly star's natural 'chocolate-boy' looks and charms, which Mohsin often flaunts on his Instagram handle and keeps his fans and followers amazed.
