MUMBAI: Owing to its intriguing and gripping plot, Colors TV's new serial Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawan, which was launched just a few months ago, is gaining a lot of attention. Zain Imam and Reem Shaikh play the lead roles of Agasthaya and Paakhi, respectively, while Akshit Sukhija plays Paakhi's love interest, Ishaan. The show is based on the lines of the movie Darr. However, the entire concept hasn't been taken from the movie. Fanaa is produced by Gul Khan under the banner of 4 Lions Production.

High-voltage drama is in store for the audience as Kishwer Merchantt enters as Meera Raichand. She will be seen as a negative character in the show. She will essay the role of Agastya's stepmother, who will be responsible for his behavioural changes. Because of her character’s traits, Agastya is quite stubborn.

However, in reality she is completely a devoted mother who loves to spend her time with her son. She captioned a recent video of his as, “happiness @suyyashrai @nirvair.rai.”
