The feisty Dolly Bindra has been having a whale of a time in BCL (Sony Entertainment Television). The lady who can make men quake in their boots is for a change enjoying the flurry of sixes and fours that are being hit in this celebrity cricket tournament. And guess what? BCL has actually turned a non-cricketing enthusiast like Dolly into a hardcore one today.

Says Dolly, "I am absolutely enjoying BCL by representing Mumbai Warriors. Whenever someone smashes the ball for a six out of the park, my heart pounds with excitement. I have never really been a cricket fan and have only watched India-Pakistan matches. But seeing BCL live and also participating in it has increased my interest in cricket to such an extent that I now plan to catch every match of India whenever possible."

The actress also has had some fun moments while on field. Sharing one, Dolly says, "I was fielding and was about take a catch when four other players too converged to catch the ball. Ultimately, someone else caught the ball which was mine to take."

Not many know that Dolly's mother was an excellent hockey player and Dolly believes that she has imbibed the sportsman spirit from her mother. "My mom was a hockey player and I believe I have her true sportsman spirit. Even in BCL, I have been fully focused on playing the game well rather than indulging in mindless chit-chat with others. When I am playing, it is only the game that remains my prime focus."

Dolly is also extremely thankful to Ekta Kapoor & Co for coming up with this brilliant concept. "I thank Ekta for thinking about this out-of-box concept of organising a cricket match with all television celebrities. I have to thank Sony channel as well for partnering with BCL."

Dolly hopes many more sports would soon be endorsed and play by celebrities, both TV and Bollywood. For the moment, it is her newly born love for cricket that she is fully cherishing.
