Bharti performs on I Can Do That with a fractured foot

Bharti Singh

Bharti Singh has made a mark in the industry with her impeccable comic timing and is undoubtedly one of the finest stand-up comedians in the country, but her glory doesn’t end here! Ever since she has been a part of  Zee TV’s big ticket entertainer ‘I Can Do That, she has managed to surprise the audiences with each of her performances! She did it yet again by performing Kathak with a fractured foot on a bed of nails for an upcoming episode! She had fractured her foot on the show and was still determined to give her best on the show. She proved this time around that she is a fighter and can surely do anything for her fans! Kathak is a dance form with major foot-work and requires a lot of effort and determination to pull it off beautifully.

Bharti’s doctor had strictly advised her bed rest but Bharti wasn't about to call it quits so easily. She performed extremely gracefully on a bed of nails on the song, ‘London Thumakda’ and did not fall short of the grace and expressions required for the act despite the throbbing pain! The performance was so enjoyable that audiences even forgot that she had a fractured foot! She mastered the dance form that requires the dexterity of her feet and intricate footwork in merely 3 days and performed it flawlessly. Her determination left the viewers and the host Farhan Akhtar stumped!

Bharti said, “I’m extremely determined about this show particularly because it’s very different in nature and I’m facing the challenges thrown my way with great gusto. I was taught not to quit and I will give my best to what I have taken up. Yes, I am in extreme pain and have been advised complete bed rest but I will deliver to the best of my capacity till I am a part of the show.   I have and will do everything possible to entertain my fans and keep them happy.”

Kudos to Bharti’s determination and never say die spirit!
