MUMBAI: Baseer Ali, an Indian actor and reality TV star known from MTV Splitsvilla 10 and Roadies Rising, joined Bigg Boss 19 with high hopes.

Bigg Boss 19 continues to dominate conversations, and former contestant Baseer Ali’s latest revelations have added more fuel to the fire.

After his recent eviction, Baseer had an unfiltered conversation with Pinkvilla where he openly admitted that joining the show was a decision he now regrets.

When asked if he wished he hadn’t participated, Baseer replied honestly, saying he was told about the format and fairness of the game, but once inside, he realised it wasn’t for him.

“Yes, I regret taking this decision this year,” he said. According to him, the contestant lineup disappointed him from the very beginning.

“Maine pehle hi hafte bol diya tha ke the quality of contestants is bulls**t. Kuch dekho, samjho aur feel karke bulao,” he added, claiming even viewers outside now agree with his opinion.

Speaking about who could lift the Bigg Boss 19 trophy, Baseer predicted that Gaurav Khanna has strong chances, with Farrhana and Tanya also in the race. He explained that his prediction is based on how the audience is perceiving the contestants from the outside world.

When asked about others, Baseer said he likes Amaal personally but doesn’t think the audience is connecting with him or his gameplay.

About Shehbaz, he commented that the contestant is only surviving, not playing to win. He also criticised Bajaj, saying the contestant has contributed little and is currently in a very negative phase.

Earlier, Bajaj appeared to have a positive image, but Baseer believes his real personality eventually came out. As for the rest of the housemates, he feels they’re simply passing the time without making a notable impact.

To recap, Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama were evicted from the Bigg Boss 19 house in a double elimination. Fans were outraged, claiming he deserved a spot in the top 5, and the show’s makers faced significant criticism for his elimination.
