Bigg Boss 19 Day 79 Highlights: Democracy Drama, Captaincy Chaos and Kitchen Fights

Bigg Boss

MUMBAI: Day 79 in the Bigg Boss 19 house kicked off with Bigg Boss announcing the Captaincy Contendership Task — a political-themed challenge held inside the Assembly Room for captaincy contendership The twist? Housemates had to form and campaign for their own political parties to win points and eventually secure their place as captaincy contenders.

The Setup: Three Parties, Three Leaders, and One Throne at Stake

The task began with the introduction of three founding members — Gaurav, Kunickaa, and Shehbaaz — each heading their own political party. Over the course of the day, these parties would perform activities and debates to earn points, with the Sanchalak, Amaal, overseeing the entire task. By the end, the party with the highest score would put forth its leader as a contender for captaincy. Each party was allowed to have three members in total, including the founding member.

Opening Speeches: The Political Firestorm Begins

The task kicked off with an “Opening Speech” round where each founding member had to openly criticize their rival parties.

● Kunickaa attacked Shehbaaz, calling him lazy and non-contributing, while mocking Gaurav as “confusing inside and out.”

● Shehbaaz countered, describing his group as “Asliyat batane wali party” that would “muh band karwayenge bina gaali.” He also teased Gaurav by calling Mridul his PA.

● Gaurav, introducing his Sangharsh Party, took a witty dig, saying “Kunickaa gave up in two days, and Shehbaaz ne cheating kiya tha.”

Campaign Chaos and War of Words

Once speeches concluded, housemates had to enroll themselves into a party and then began campaigning for their parties. Each team was asked to explain why their party deserved to win.

The parties were -

● Gaurav’s Party: Pranit and Mridul

● Kunickaa’s Party: Farrhana and Tanya

● Shehbaaz’s Party: Malti and Ashnoor

Gaurav’s Samgharsh Party described themselves as “real at heart” and “the most loved party by the public.”

Kunickaa’s Shakti Party stood for “naari shakti”, with her saying, “Kuch jhooth bolne padte hai janta ke liye,” hinting at political realism.

Meanwhile, Shehbaaz’s Party Karo Party focused on entertainment and honesty, stating, “Hamari party mein entertainers hai, muh pe baat karte hai.”

As the campaigns heated up, Gaurav mockingly called Kunickaa’s team a “Kitty Party,” while Farrhana labelled Shehbaaz’s group “chor party.” The banter soon escalated into chaos.

Amaal vs Tanya: Bias, Betrayal, and Bold Words

As Sanchalak, Amaal had the final say in the first round’s results — but his decision stirred controversy. Declaring Gaurav’s team as the winner, he labelled Kunickaa’s team the “most jhoothi party.”

This led to a fiery reaction from Tanya, who called Amaal “cheater and biased.” Amaal hit back sharply, saying, “Bakri!” and added, “Why are you jealous? Even if you stand alone, koi teko captain nahi banata.”

He further remarked, “Agar tune dosti seekhi hoti, toh Neelam ke saath gaddari nahi karti.”

Verbal Duels and Explosive Accusations

The heated atmosphere didn’t stop there. Shehbaaz and Farrhana got into a bitter exchange, hurling insults back and forth. “Bhen ki baat firse kardi,” said Shehbaaz, to which Farrhana fired back, “Tu karta hai bhen ki baat.” Both went on to call each other “shit,” prompting Amaal to intervene as tensions spiked.

When Tanya accused Amaal of being “ungrateful”, he stood his ground, asserting that his decision was based on fairness. Amid the chaos, Shehbaaz lashed out at Tanya, calling her “sabse badi fake hai tu,” and took a personal dig by saying, “Terse lakh guna achi hai meri bhen,” referencing Shehnaaz.

The task ended with Tanya and Farrhana confronting Amaal furiously, saying, “Jo action tumne kiya woh bilkul sahi nahi tha — ghatiya aadmi.” The house was left divided, with alliances shaken and emotions running high.

The atmosphere soon turned fiery when Shehbaaz lost his temper over a comment about his hair, yelling, “Kaanch nikalke muh pe maarunga!” He further insulted Kunickaa’s team, saying, “Tum log dinosaur ke ando se bhi bekar ho.”

Round 2: Amaal’s Question Round

For the second round, Amaal introduced a quiz-based segment, where he asked two tough questions to various contestants.

● To Pranit, Amaal asked why he chose to evict Abhishek over Ashnoor.
Pranit replied, “Dono mere dost hai, par is baar mai usko choose karunga jiski values ko mai   maanta hoon. Ashnoor ne body shaming situation mein sahi stand liya   tha.”

● To Mridul, Amaal questioned why he backtracked from his earlier statement calling Abhishek and Ashnoor “chamchas.”
Mridul explained, “Koi bhi baat 100% perfect nahi hoti, teeno mein kami lagi thi, isliye maine ration mein likha tha 90%.” Amaal, unimpressed, said he wasn’t “fully   convinced.”

● To Kunickaa, he asked if Tanya was truly loyal to her.
Kunickaa replied calmly, “Loyal koi kisi ke liye nahi hai is ghar mein.”

● To Tanya, Amaal questioned her about the video that showed her backstabbing Neelam. Tanya defended herself, “Meri aur Neelam ki dosti pehle din se thi. Us video mein   ham dono bol rahe the, blame sirf mujhe dena sahi nahi. Mai Neelam se pyaar karti hoon aur karti rahungi.”

● To Shehbaaz, Amaal brought up an old moment, asking why he told him not to reveal a certain secret during his first captaincy.
Shehbaaz laughed it off, “Maine mazak mein kaha tha. Impress karne nahi, dosti nibhane ke liye bola tha.”

● To Malti, Amaal directly asked about her wildcard entry and game plan. Malti bluntly replied, “Tanya exaggerated karti hai, camera ke liye karti hai, jhooth bolti   hai aur materialistic hai. Uske liye rishte matter nahi karte.”
She also revealed, “During the puzzle task, Tanya ne Amaal ki photo kiss ki thi,” shocking the house. Malti didn’t stop there — she added, “Farrhana real hai, par   uski harkate pasand nahi. Sympathy hai uske liye, par woh rishte nahi samajhti.”
Amaal declared Kunickaa’s team as the winner of Round 2.

Tanya Calls Malti “Nonsense” and “Dumb”

This decision ignited another argument — Tanya called Malti “nonsense” and “dumb”, even questioning her spirituality. Tanya then remarked on the chaos, saying, “Pagalon ko ladwa rahe ho ek saath, aur bahar bhi pagal ho jaate ho. Agar tum mein bhooth hai toh hi Bigg Boss jao.”
Later, Kunickaa and Tanya discussed that Farrhana seemed mentally drained after repeated confrontations.

Kitchen Showdown: Farrhana Calls Amaal ‘Dogla’ After Heated Ration Clash

Farrhana clashed with Amaal over kitchen duties. When he demanded she perform his responsibilities, Amaal snapped, “Farrhana ko khana nahi milega, woh apna khana khud banayegi.”
Farrhana retaliated by calling him “dogla” and said, “Badtameez harkate khud karta hai aur humein bolta hai.” The friction continued as Farrhana refused to do her assigned duties, calling Amaal “multi-standard.”

Tanya Clarifies Her Feeling for Amaal

During a candid conversation, Tanya and Farrhana were seen discussing Amaal. Tanya openly stated that she doesn’t have any feelings for him, saying she has no issue liking someone but wouldn’t hide it if she did. In response, Farrhana hinted there might be more to the story, remarking that Tanya stays distant “because someone outside is waiting for Amaal.” The exchange added fuel to the ongoing speculation about Tanya and Amaal’s dynamic inside the Bigg Boss 19 house.

The Dinner Rule Clash

Later, Amaal implemented a strict rule — “Everyone will only eat at the table.”
Tanya refused, accusing Amaal of trying to provoke her, saying, “Tu chahta hai na mai Farrhana ko na du.”
Amaal retorted, “Everyone will get their portion. You challenged me, now it’s my rule.”
Farrhana called the move “bachakaan,” while Tanya hit back, “Main beizzat hone nahi aayi hoon Bigg Boss mein, jo teri dadagiri saho.”

Pranit, Mridul and Guarav’s Game Discussion

Elsewhere, Pranit, Mridul, and Gaurav discussed how Amaal wanted to project himself as a fair captain, while others pointed out that the repeated fights were losing meaning.

Farrhana’s Food Fiasco

Farrhana secretly received food from Kunickaa, which she hid. Tanya, still upset over her and Amaal’s banter and him calling her a liar, skipped dinner, telling Farrhana, “Tu mera saath nahi de rahi.” Farrhana reasoned, “Tu past week ka revenge le rahi hai, Amaal pe blame daal rahi hai and tu allegations laga rahi hai, aisa lag raha pechle hafte ka badla le rahi hai.”

Late-Night Calm: Malti and Pranit’s Heartfelt Exchange

After a chaotic day, the house finally found a quiet moment when Pranit and Malti sat together to unwind. Pranit told her I feel comfortable with you, I can talk to you because you listen and equally talk also. Gaurav observed that Pranit gives equal attention to everyone, while Mridul joked, “Malti aur Pranit bohot cute lag rahe hai saath mein.
