MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 has officially wrapped up, with Gaurav Khanna crowned the winner and Farrhana Bhatt securing the first runner-up position.
Among the strong top five finalists was Amaal Mallik, whose journey, friendships and gameplay remained a constant talking point both inside and outside the house.
Amaal’s bond with Baseer, Zeishan and Shehbaz became one of the season’s most discussed dynamics, earning him immense popularity and a rapidly growing fan base.
Following the grand finale, the singer-composer interacted with the media, opening up about his friendships, his stance on certain housemates, and his emotions after missing out on the trophy.
Speaking about his friendship with Tanya, Amaal explained,
“Initially, I felt her actions were genuine, but she couldn’t stay loyal even to her closest friend Neelam. So I realised she wouldn’t stay true to us either. That’s when I distanced myself.”
Reflecting on not winning Bigg Boss 19, he shared a positive outlook:
“I gave my best and reaching the top five is an achievement in itself. As they say, ‘Haar kar jeetne wale ko baazigar kehte hain.’ I’m genuinely happy with where I stand today.”
Addressing his bond with Malti Chahar, he clarified rumours:
“I knew her from before, but I chose not to mention it on the show as it might have seemed like an unfair advantage. We are good friends, and I won’t deny that.”
Amaal’s honest responses and grounded attitude have only strengthened his connection with audiences. Having delivered a memorable and impactful journey, he has now become a household name with a massive fan following eager to see what he does next.
