Choti Sardarni fame Jinal Jain and Nakul Vaid bag Star Plus's upcoming show by Zama Habib

MUMBAI: Here we are back again with the latest happening in the World of Television.

Tellychakkar has always been at the forefront of reporting about various upcoming shows and web series.

As we have reported before, acclaimed writer and producer Zama Habib’s new show tentatively titled Zindagi Welcome on Star Plus.

Mr. Habib is the man behind many successful shows who has created wonders with his impeccable writing skills. His vast body of work as a writer includes popular shows as Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, Sasural Genda Phool, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saas Bina Sasural, to name a few. He is currently a script consultant for TV's top-rated show Anupamaa.

We also broke the news that the show will have two female leads and makers have most likely locked Cheshta Mehta (Chhanchhan) and Esha Kansara (Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi) as female protagonists.

Our sources also inform that earlier talented Iqbal Khan was in talks to play the male lead however makers are now looking out for other options.

Earlier we broke the news about actors namely Sudhir Pandey, Sulbha Arya, Rajeev Mehra, Dolly Chawla, Ishaan Dhawan, Shweta Gautam, Swati Shah, Adarsh Gautam and Ankit Narang being part of the show.

According to the latest reports, actors Jinal Jain and Nakul Vaid have also bagged the show. 

Jinal Jain who is known for her stint in Madam Sir, Choti Sardarni and Story Nine Months Ki will now be seen in the much-anticipated show. 

She will be essaying the character of a young sister in the family. 

Nakul Vaid made his mark with several films like The Lunchbox, Ab Tak Chhappan and Chak De! India. He also played the lead roles in films like Samvedna, With Love Tumhara and Mohandas. He first rose to fame with the television series - Ittefaq in 2002 where he played the younger brother of Rajesh Khanna.

The makers of the show will soon be making an official announcement about it and that is something to look forward to.
