Mumun Datta and Raj Anadkat: Munmun Dutta plays Babita Ji on the show while Raj Anadkat is seen in the role of Tappu. The two have been reportedly dating for quite some time. A source from the show told ETimes, "Nobody teases them; they don't try to steal moments with each other. The love story is actually old and one wonders how it hasn't come out to date. Their respective families too are not in the dark."
Jheel Mehta: The actor, who was the former Sonu Bhide on the show, was body-shamed for her Instagram post. Netizens wrote that she was not "skinny enough" or "too tall". In the post, the actress revealed that comments on the shape of her teeth and makeup were also passed, while others pointed out the acne on her face. A part of her message read, "I wish I heard this song by @avantinagral as a teenager. It took me such a long time to truly accept myself and feel confident in the way I am and to understand that as long as I like and accept who I am, what others say DOES NOT matter."
Priya Ahuja: Priya plays the role of reporter Rita. She recently was preyed on by trolls who commented on a bra strap was peeping from one side in a photo. Her husband Malav Rajda hit back at hte roles and came to his wife's defense and wrote, "Apni maa ya behen ko bhi bol ke dekh, dekh zara kya react karte hain (Say this to your mom and sister, see how they react to your statement)."
Munmun Dutta: The actress landed in legal trouble when she hurt religious sentiments in a video and used a casteist slur. Dalit rights activist Rajat Kalsan filed an FIR against the actress who was booked under section 3(1) (u) of the SC-ST POA act.
