Doree's creative director Siddharttha Vankar turns author, Sitara's tragic death inspired by Divya Bharti?

MUMBAI: Former creative director of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Siddharth Vankar is currently a Creative Director for Doree and the showrunner Har Bahu Ki Yahi Kahani Sasumaa Ne Kadar Na Jani has authored a new book titled Sitara.

The concept of the book is about Sitara Mehta, the leading actress of 90's, thought to be the mega star of the generation mysteriously falls off from her terrace on one fateful night. Sitara narrates her story from the time she was born to an over ambitious Neelam Mehta and a rather content Navin Mehta. With her manager Sitara manages to bag over 10 films and gets introduced to Aman Mistry, a Parsi construction magnet. They fall in love however they belong to different backgrounds hence push love out of their minds but eventually cross paths only to get married. As her journey continues Sitara becomes a top heroine while Aman becomes a producer however, a don casts his eyes on Sitara.

Well, sources suggest that this book is based on the Late actress Divya Bharti as it draws close resemblance to the story of her life.

Divya Bharti’s death was subject to conspiracy theories. The official cause of her death was deemed to be head injuries and internal bleeding. She was cremated on 7 April 1993 at the Vile Parle crematorium in Bombay. She was 19 years old.
