And today (July 2 2012), the show reaches yet another milestone i.e. completion of 200 episodes. The entire cast along with the crew had a cake cutting celebration on the sets. We hear that the unit cut nearly four cakes and all were in a mood of celebration. When contacted, producer Siddharth Malhotra spoke on the occasion, “It’s team work; we and Star Plus have had the same vision and have taken it forward. We have believed in our conviction and have stuck to the DNA of the show. Star Plus has let us carry out our vision, and even after 200 episodes we are all passionate about what we are doing. Our story has just gotten to the main phase and there is a long way to go.” Niaa Sharma, who has lived the role of Maanvi to the ‘T’, said, “Our show has now reached the highest peak and we are looking forward to gaining our best TRPs. It’s this time in the story where we need to cash in. We are really happy as a unit to have completed 200 episodes. Today is a day to celebrate. In the last week’s episodes, we hit a high point where Maanvi was shown with a bald plate, and today we have reached another benchmark.
