Endemol to do fiction for Sony

After tasting success with shows like Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and Miley Jab Hum Tum, Endemol India is now putting finishing touches to the tentatively titled Chaje Chaje Ka Pyaar for Sony. Known actors like Vivek Mushran and Mazher Sayeed have been approached to play important roles in it. A source says, “The show is for Sony and is a story about two families, their bonding, emotions, their moments and so on. The story is set in Delhi and will have a love track too. It is a family drama. The casting is still on and Mazher and Vivek will play pivotal roles in it. They haven’t signed any contract as yet. Currently we are working on various technicalities and detailing of this show. However, it is going to be a daily soap for prime time, though we have not got any definite launch date or time. Our team is looking out for fresh faces to play the leads but is also open for known faces. If everything goes well then by next month our show will go on floors.” Mazher says, “Talks are on but nothing is confirmed as yet.” Deepak Dhar, Country Head, Endemol India remained unavailable for comment. Ajit Thakur, Business Head, Sony says, “I cannot confirm anything at this moment.”
