MUMBAI: Star Plus' overtly adored show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is currently ruling several hearts. The show has become everyone's favourite in no time.
South actors Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar are playing the lead roles of Raghav and Pallavi in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali. The fans are glued to the screens for its gripping storyline and twists. The new twist that is all set to come in Raghav Rao's life is ACP Lakshmi Singh aka Snehal Waghmare. We got in touch with the actress and asked her about the characters.
Tell us about your character and what twist will it bring?
My character is ACP Lakshmi Singh and she has been sent to Hyderabad from Delhi in search of the culprits for Diamond Smuggling, and the prominent name that comes out is Raghav Rao. She will hunt for him and catch him for sure. While searching for him one boy gets encountered as well. The character is quite strong and confident. I am enjoying every bit of it.
What kind of preparations have you done for this one as we have seen you in mythological and historical shows earlier?
I have been a part of Mere Sai and Ahilyabai, in historical/ mythic shows you are more soft-spoken and poised. This one is completely opposite to that one. It was challenging for me personally as well, as I am not someone who is this authoritative in reality. I am doing something out of the box. This is surely my favourite character now, I always wanted to do a cop so I am happy and learning things.
What do you do in your free time?
I read books, I love books like Sherlock Holmes, Sydney Sheldon. Apart from that I love belly dancing and working out so yes in my free time I keep myself busy working on myself. I believe if you are free then your mind hovers on any random thing. Instead, I choose to keep myself occupied.
