MUMBAI: Kanwar Dhillon is seen in Star Plus’ Pandya Store and he has been garnering a lot of appreciation and praise for his stint in the show.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, we got chatty about his stint in the show.
Sharing his experience with the show. Kanwar said, “My experience shooting with Pandya Store has been awesome. I think undoubtedly this is the best team , the cast and crew I’ve worked with and it makes me happier to see that overall team work reflects on screen. I think that’s what makes it so successful. I am really happy to be a part of it. I am happy Shiva Pandya came into my life and it’s changed a lot of things for good and I just hope we have a long run and we keep getting the continuous support of the audience and the love in abundance. I am really happy with the waves now.”
Shedding some light on the closest person on the sets of the show, Kanwar expressed, “Well the closest person to me on the sets of Pandya Store is undoubtedly Alice Kaushik. Alice is very close to me , and Kinchu (Kinshuk Mahajan) is also very close to me and he is like an elder brother onset and offset. We share a lot of things in common and a lot of things about each other. It’s great to have someone looking for you. With Alice, it’s a bond that I don’t think I have never experienced ever with any co actors. She is a darling, she is my family and she is going to be in my life forever. So these two people are really special to me.”
We asked Kanwar about him coming across as a version of Ranveer Singh from his earlier days in the entertainment industry. Kanwar shared, “Well I get that a lot. Maybe the high energy that I always have and the jumping around that I always do on the sets and the non-stop talking that I always keep doing which is good. Also I like Ranveer Singh, I think it’s a good compliment. I think he is a fabulous actor. He is full of energy , good dancer so I have no problem if people think I am a version of Ranveer Singh. The only thing that is not close to him is my fashion statement but let’s see you never know when I can get there, it’s a good comparison.”
