We got in touch with Abhimanyu aka Harshad Chopda to know about his character, AbhiRa moments and more. He had some interesting insights to share:
What has been your thought process behind creating Abhimanyu on screen?
It’s teamwork. However, I envisaged an iconoclast non-conformist lover boy who still respected family values.
Which is your most adored scene of Abhimanyu and Abhira?
Nearly all the scenes have been rewarding as an actor, however, if i have to choose one, then the one in which I’m hanging upside down from a tree and the proposal has been the most adored.
As a viewer what is your take on Abhira's love story?
That though both love each other still family cannot be ignored
What has been the craziest part of being Abhimanyu?
The physicality involved in performances, going to Akshara's place, jumping from the balcony, everything about Abhimanyu and his love is crazy.
As an actor, what do look out for while choosing a project?
I choose projects that should be entertaining and at the same time would my presence make a difference.
What would be the one thing that you believe should be lenient for every actor in this profession in terms of rules?
I like rules. They are generally for the larger benefit, so I don't think there is something to be lenient about.
In the upcoming episode, The Birlas and Goenkas are invited to the same party for the Makar Sankranti celebration. Both the families decide to go. At the party, Akshara meets Abhimanyu and asks him if he has come alone. Abhimanyu tells her that the whole family has come. The families then come face-to-face. What will Akshara and Abhimanyu do now?
