Fake 'internet' romance to be busted in tonight's episode of Sony TV's Crime Patrol

Crime Patrol
This week, Sony Entertainment Television’s Crime Patrol (Optimystix Productions) will depict a very interesting tale which many youngsters will relate with. At a time when social networking has become a boon there is also a flipside to it which will be showcased in this episode. The episode will take a look at this problem through the instance of 17-year old Harshita Amre from Kolhapur who will befriend Feroz Shaikh (21) through a popular social networking site and fall in love with him without even meeting him. The virtual relationship between the two will continue for a couple of months and then one day Harshita will run away from her home to be with Feroz in Pune. Feroz will receive Harshita at the station and then take her to his friend Arun’s room in a dingy chawl. When Harshita will thwart Feroz’s advances to get physical with her, citing them not being married, Firoz will bring a ‘mangalsutra’ and tie it around Harshita’s neck. Enamored by the dramatic portrayal of love Harshita will not realise that Feroz is a liar and just wants to take advantage of her innocence. When she will insist upon meeting Feroz’s parents sometime later he will agree to take her to meet his parents also. But the next day Feroz will take Harshita to Pune railway station and hand over her the ticket of her hometown Kolhapur instead and tell her that she should go back to her parents. A shattered Harshita will be standing at the platform when a lady constable from the railway police will notice her and ask her the reason. Mustering up enough courage Harshita will narrate her plight to the constable but will not be able to give full information of Feroz. The only thing she will remember will be that he stayed in a room whose main door was painted in a vibrant red color. Will the police be able to find out Feroz with such little information? Tune in to Crime Patrol tonight (28 February).
