The show stars Kapil Sharma as the host, along with Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar and Bharti Singh playing various characters. Archana Puran Singh is seen as a judge.

The Kapil Sharma Show is expected to go off air in the second week of February. It went on-air in December 2018 and had a successful run for two years.

Well, apart from that, there are reports about the falling TRPs which is one of the reasons behind the show going off-air.

As per various reports, there are no plans for revamping. The comedian's show has been a favourite among the viewers for many reasons and the audience participation was one driving factors for the show.

Also, there are very fewer films being released which is why no actors are also coming on the show for their promotions. So, the makers felt that it would be ideal to take a break right now and return when things get back to normal.

One of the other reason why the show is set to go on break is that Kapil's wife Ginni is expecting her second baby. Reports suggest that this break would be apt for Kapil as he would be able to spend time with his family.
