I don't mind falling in love with a fan: Sahil Salathia

Sahil Salathia

Enjoying every bit of his new-found popularity, Sahil Salathia feels overwhelmed with the love his fans have been showering on his debut TV stint Everest on Star Plus. Tellychakkar.com spoke to the good looking lad about a bunch of things...read on:

“It feels really special to be appreciated so much by the viewers in my first show itself. And tell me who doesn’t like the attention of all the lovely girls who find me attractive (winks). They share posters and edit pictures, making me feel humbled and genuinely happy and loved,” quipped the boy.

We wondered whether he would ever fall in love with a ‘fan’ of his, to which he shyly answered, “Why not? I think love just happens and can never be planned. I am prepared for cupid to strike me anytime as you never know when love can happen.”

Talking about his show, Sahil said, “It is a completely different concept and I am glad that people who did not enjoy the kitchen politics on Indian shows are actually getting a chance to enjoy TV through Everest. I think the show has opened up a new era on TV and created a revolution. And even though it's not be receiving great numbers, this brilliant project is indeed getting a positive feedback.”

When we asked him about his plans post the show, he said, "I enjoy the craft of acting and would stick to it forever. I don’t know about the medium I would be working in next,  all I know is that I love acting. TV  is great as the reach it has is commendable. I will check out good scripts now and hopefully something kickass will come my way soon.”

Sahil has also become a style icon now, when quizzed on that, he said, “Oh I feel glad about that. Style is all about being yourself and having fun with the clothes you wear. The style you choose brings out your inner personality.”

The actor has been a model and now a much sought after actor, so we asked him if he was ever hit on by the same sex. The actor replied, “yes, quite often. I take it as a form of appreciation and even when guys tweet about me being ‘sexy’ and ‘sweet’, I feel happy rather than being flustered.”

That’s the spirit, Sahil!
