Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's second gala round promises a lot of emotional drama, thanks to our damdar performer Sandhya Mridul. In tonight's episode, viewers will get to see a power packed performance by Sandhya after which she breaks down into tears.
"It was very tough for me to boogie on cha cha cha. The techniques was difficult and I had to put in a lot of effort. After my final performance, I couldn't believe that it was me. Being a impulsive person, I just cried my heart out thanks to the overwhelming gestures by all the judges," says Sandhya.
Somehow, all along there has been a lot of expectation from Sandhya. "Tthe judges expect a lot but that also makes me very nervous on stage and sometimes I goof up. I'm a non dancer and am trying my level best to keep my choreographer happy. Just one day before the final episode, we rehearsed for eight long hours," explains Mridul.
Sandhya has often goofed up during the gruelling practice sessions. "The first day of the rehearsal, I just lost my balance and fell hard on my face. I totally went blank and made a fool of myself on television. The camera was rolling during this incident," she laughs.
In many ways, the reality show has also helped the actress in a makeover of sorts. "People used to think that I'm a strong and aggressive person and cannot dance. Jhalak has changed my image to a very sensuous girl who can also shake her legs. In fact, now I am getting a lot of offers to perform for Navratri," she gushes.
Sandhya has no fear of getting eliminated out of the contest. "I want to go out like Yuvraj Singh. Six sixes in an over. I'm here to perform and make sure the judges are happy, along with junta," she signs off.
