Kanishka Soni to join the cast of Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan

Kanishka Soni who is a leading actress down South is the next big name to join the cast of Nautanki Telefilms’ Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK. As our readers would know, Kunwar Dhillon and Shritama Mukherjee have been roped in to play the lead roles in the show after it would take the 20 year leap. We now hear that Kanishka who has done quite a number of Telugu films as lead has been finalized to play wife to the ongoing character of Satya, essayed by Akshay Dogra. A reliable source informs us that the character Manjari, essayed by Kanishka will go on to marry Satya. She will also be mother to the lead girl, played by Shritama Mukherjee. Manjari will be a very important character in the post leap storyline. Kanishka who has been seen on Hindi TV in many a serials has also been paired opposite the comedy king Vivek in the Tamil movie Pathayeram Kodi. When contacted, Kanishka told us, “Yes, I am in talks for an integral role in Jaan. However, I am yet to receive any confirmation on the same.” Watch this space for more exclusive updates.
