Star Plus’ recently launched show Ek Ghar Banaunga (Village Boy Productions) has been liked by the audience, but the low TRPs had put the makers in a low phase. But with the wedding sequence of Poonam (Ishita Dutta) and Gautam (Sachin Chhabra) coming up, viewers must expect some interesting twists and turns.
Tellychakkar.com talked to producer Raakesh Paswan who seemed really excited with the show’s coming sequences. “Every wedding in TV serials is incomplete without twists and turns. We will soon have a series of drama, but nothing of the rona-dhona types; it will all be very interesting.”
With the family of the groom being disappointed after their failed motive of drawing huge dowry from Poonam’s family, they will now try to create hurdles and disrupt the marriage proceedings.
After all, their laakhon mein ek beta is getting hitched for free, which is unbearable for the family members. Some relatives of Gautam will also put their brains in the malicious ploy.
On the other hand, Aakash’s (Rahul Sharma) sister Prarthana (Prachi Parab) will finally get engaged. The entry of Avadh Kishore (Phool Singh) –prospective groom’s father – will mark another list of twists in the show. Aakash and Prarthana’s Bhabhi, Kannu, will make sure that not much money is wasted on her (Prarthana) marriage, which will cause disrupt in the wedding alliance and in the family. All this drama is surely going to affect Aakash a lot, since he will be divided among both the households.
Getting back to Raakesh, he was all praise for Phool Singh, with whom he has worked in his earlier project, Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo. “It feels great to work with friends again, and the ambience on the set is just like home. We are really having a great time shooting.”
Will all this drama and twists, will it help the makers to shine in the TRP race? Let’s wait and watch.
