Mohit Dutta to play a new parallel lead in Jamuna Paar

Getting a parallel in the show definitely helps keeping the viewers glued to their television sets. The audiences are clueless as to what new flavour, this new character will bring into the story. And playing on the same idea, there will be a new parallel lead in Director Kut’s Jamuna Paar aired on Imagine. The show, a love story between two individual of different background, is set in Delhi. Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported that Bijju (Ankur Verma) and Vidhi's (Vidhi Parekh) love story is going through some troubled times as Vidhi had decided to go to Paris. And with the entry of a new character, things will a bit ugly. In the upcoming episodes, Rohit (played by Mohit Dutta) will meet Vidhi at a party organized by the latter’s sister Jassi. The two will get along really well, and Bijju will feel insecure about it. In fact, Bijju and Rohit will have a fight, too. When Tellychakkar.com contacted Mohit Dutta, he confirmed the news and said, “I am very lucky to be working with Rajan ji (Rajan Shahi). It’s a challenging role and I am honored to be a part of the show. I am looking forward to the show." Prior to this, Mohit was seen in Apoorva Lakhia’s Hide and Seek. He has already started shooting for the show and his entry is expected to go on-air in the coming week.
