Mom and daughter together after a decade

Shubha Khote and Bhavna Balsaver will be sharing screen after a gap of ten years. Shubha Khote is making an entry in Paani Puri on Star One. They were last seen together in Zabaan Sambhal Ke. Shubha Khote is entering as Vikas Puri’s grandmother. Bhavna Balsaver is playing Divya Pani’s mother in the show. The creative director Nikhat Bhatty says, “Shubha Khote is doing a cameo. She will be a part of the marriage episodes. We haven’t decided on her exit yet. Since she is Vikas Puri’s grandmother, she will be seen in the show later as well.” Shubha Khote is a conservative type of a grandmother who has come from Punjab. She wants the wedding of her grandson as per her wish. Bhavna Balsaver says, “When I am working with her, I don’t feel that she is my mother. I would say that she is a lot of fun to work with. Though we have shared screen several times, we have never played mother and daughter. In Paani Puri again, we are on the opposite sides. She is my daughter’s grand mother-in-law.” Shubha Khote was unavailable for her comment.
