Post Parth Samthaan testing positive for Coronavirus; co-starsPooja Banerjee and Shubhavi Choksey wait for BMC officials for their tests on Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 sets.

MUMBAI: Not long ago was the untoward news of Parth Samthaan testing positive for Coronavirus released on social media by the actor himself. He is extremely popular for playing Anurag on Ekta Kapoor's popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 . After the news broke the internet, shooting on the KZK2 sets was brought to a stand still immediately. The actor was showing symptoms a day before getting suspicious, after which he decided to get a COVID-19 test done, reports of the test came last evening, regrettably confirming that the virus has indeed infected him.

Today Parth has refrained himself from coming for the shooting on the set but his other co-actors are very much present on location for the show as per the reports form spotboye. Pooja Banerjee (Nivedita Basu) and Shubhavi Choksey (Mohini Basu) are prepared and ready on the set to deliver their scenes. However, now the actresses have been asked to wait for BMC officials to come to the set, so they can conduct a COVID19 test while still on the sets.

When Pooja Banerjee was contacted regarding the same, she replied affirming, "Yes there is test happening and I'm on set right now."

Meanwhile, Parth Samthaan took to his Instagram handle and informed his fans and friends about the unfortunate condition. In his post, he also urged the people who were in contact with him for the past few days to get themselves tested for their safety. His note read, "Hi everyone , I had mild symptoms and got myself tested. And yes I have been tested Postive for Covid 19 ...hence I would urge and request everyone who's been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested . The Bmc has regularly been in touch and with the doctor's guidance I am in self quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support . Please be safe and take care."
