Raj Singh at his menacing best in Fear Files and Savdhan India

Raj Singh whose claim to fame was with the role of Sachin in Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta is a ‘wanted’ man when it comes to essaying dark shaded characters with élan. The actor who was recently part of Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara has taken up two episodics wherein he will be seen at his ‘menacing’ best. Raj will play the role of Sharad in the story having Bihar as the backdrop in Zee TV’s Fear Files. Sharad plots and plans to get his wife killed for dowry. The episode produced by Esselvision also marks the return of Ami Trivedi to TV after her marriage and parenthood. Raj plays the cruel husband of Ami in the story. This story will be aired over the weekend. For an upcoming episode of Savdhan India on Life OK, Raj enacts the role of Ravish, a music teacher who comes to teach music to a lady’s six year old daughter. He eventually falls in love with the mother, and takes both the mother and daughter to Meerut. When the lady’s husband makes a police complaint, the lady gets caught but Ravish has the custody of the little daughter who gets into trouble. The man locks the girl up in a cupboard for nearly a day, and when she dies, throws her dead body on the highway. When contacted, Raj Singh tells us, “It’s so funny that I am in demand when it comes to playing the bad man on screen.
