Rishina Kandhari jubilant about her entry in Buddha and Aankh Micholi on Zee TV

Rishina Kandhari is on ‘cloud nine’ after bagging two important roles in two ongoing shows on Zee TV. While she plays the light-hearted character of Ridhi in Khelti Hai Zindagi – Aankh Micholi (produced by Esselvision Productions), she will soon be seen as the seductive Mohini in B K Modi’s Buddha. Says the actress, “I will soon be seen playing Mohini in Buddha.” Mohini happens to be the girl who will attract Siddhartha (Himanshu Soni) towards worldly pleasures by her attractive beauty. In Aankh Micholi, she plays the pampered sister of Sanjay, essayed by Manav Gohil. “Acting comes so natural when I am into the character of Ridhi. She is so like me; I am also the pampered daughter to my parents as she is. I took up this show because I wanted to work with this unit and the ensemble cast. Also, after having done shows like Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev and Savitri, I wanted to break the shackles and get into a modern day character.” Ridhi in Aankh Micholi is of the suspicious type, who assumes that her husband is cheating over her. “Yes, she is very confused about her husband’s doings. She thinks that he is not giving her time because he has another woman in his life. Ridhi’s brother Sanjay will go on to make her understand that this is not the case. Also, a pampered Ridhi will refuse to go with her husband (played by Tarul Swami) to live in the village.” All the best for your double whammy, Rishina.
