Seasoned actor Suraj Thapar is pondering over his future in Imagine show Seeta aur Geeta as he’s isn’t quite pleased with the way things are panning out for him. Suraj plays the character of Mahesh. “Thus far there hasn’t been much to do for me in the show. This isn’t how my character was supposed to be. I’ve candidly told my producers of the same. I’m waiting for a month’s time and if things don’t change then I might well request them to relieve me,” said Thapar. The viewers have been intrigued by seeing Thapar (40) play father to Cezanne Khan, who is just nine years younger to him. Thapar himself finds it amusing when he says, “Well, this is television and that’s all I can say. However, please don’t assume that I’m not enjoying working with Cezanne. We are very good friends.” Thapar may not have any issues playing father to Cezanne but the latter bears a character name Suraj and that at times creates confusion on the sets. “Every time, someone calls Cezanne by his character name then it’s always me who answers the call. Strangely, at times I’m addressed as ‘Suraj father’. May be Cezanne should change his character name or I should change my real name,” the actor says jokingly. For now though, Suraj’s got to think over his stay in Seeta aur Geeta. Keep watching this space to know whether Thapar remains in the show or not.
