MUMBAI: Child artist Tanmay Shah, who received immense love with his character portrayal as Kairav, Kartik and Naira’s son, has been away from Yeh Rishta from the time the show has returned post lockdown.
As we are aware, the Maharashtra government made certain guidelines and protocols which restricted actors and crew members above 65 years and below 10 years to not resume the shoot. Though the senior citizens were allowed back on the sets after the Bombay High Court quashed the state government’s guideline restricting them to resume shooting, it remained the same for actors below the age of 10 years. So, respecting the government-approved guidelines, Rajan Shahi and his team at Director's Kut Productions have decided to get two new kids on-board above the age of 10 years to play the role of Kairav and Vansh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Well, which means viewers will now look forward to watching Kairav in the show.
When TellyChakkar reached out to Tanmay’s father named Rishi, he shared, “Since, kids are not allowed to shoot keeping safety in mind Tanmay is back to Delhi and keeping himself busy with studies and sports activities like lawn tennis, cricket and basketball. He is definitely missing shooting and playing the role of Kairav. He misses the atmosphere on the sets. He also misses Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi as they had very wonderful bonding. Right now, we haven’t planned anything in regards to his acting career but once things seem to be fine, he will surely take up some project.”
