Urvashi Upadhyay to make a 'Dabangg' entry in Star Plus' Ek Ghar Banaunga

Urvashi Upadhyay
Actress Urvashi Upadhyay who till date is remembered for her powerful role of Manjula in Star Plus’ Hamari Devrani will soon enter Village Boy Productions’ Ek Ghar Banaunga (Star Plus). We at Tellychakkar.com wrote about the new track of the protagonist Poonam (Ishita Dutta) participating in a competition ‘Sarvagunn Number 1’ wherein ladies from all parts of the country would take part. Urvashi, who was last seen in Sony TV’s Dil Ki Nazar Se… Khoobsurat, has been roped in to play one of the participants; she will hail from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Our source tells us that the character named Parul Ben will be of a typical Dabangg type, very loud and dominating. She will be the only ‘saas’ to take part in a competition where all the other contestants participating will be ‘bahus’. She will be of the opinion that it is the mother-in-law who rules the house, and that the daughter-in-laws are not responsible enough to handle homely affairs. She is a woman who will quarrel at the drop of a hat to simply assert her point of view. Incidentally, Producer of Ek Ghar Banaunga Raakesh Paswan was the writer of Hamari Devrani and his pen work with the character of Manjula had become an instant hit with viewers. When contacted, Urvashi told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it is a very nice feeling to work with Raakeshji (Paswan) again. In fact, we he met me for a briefing on my role in this show, he told me that Parul has to be ten times more boisterous of what Manjula was. So you can simply imagine how powerful this character is going to be. I have started shooting for the show from yesterday (3 December 2013), and I look forward to this interesting track.” We hear that the lady will have a ‘dhamakedaar’ entry in Ek Ghar Banaunga wherein she will simply beat up and tear the clothes of the rickshaw walah who brings her to the venue of the competition. She will also get into a major argument with Poonam who is also reaching the venue at the same time. Get ready for this ‘dhasu’ character of Urvashi to cast her magical spell.
