MUMBAI: Rajan Shahi's "Anupamaa" is breaking stereotypes with its heartwarming storyline. After Vanraj's extramarital affair was exposed in front of Anupamaa, she has tried to make this tragedy her strength and is working towards her self-improvement. And even though he is at fault, Vanraj is trying his best to make Anupamaa's life miserable, not because she caught him red-handed, but he can't see his wife becoming strong and independent. Well, the upcoming episodes will be a slap to his big fat male ego.

When Babuji suffered a heart attack, Anupamaa not only took him to the hospital on time but also decided on getting him operated. And now that he is hale and hearty, he decides to put Anupamaa's name too in the will of the house. He even puts her nameplate outside the house. All this was done on the occasion of Dhanteras and he gave it as a gift to both Anupamaa and Vanraj. But little does he know about the ongoing cold war between the couple.

So, how will Vanraj take this strong decision made by Babuji? Will he react or will he accept it because he has no choice? He recently threatened Anupamaa that he will throw Samar out of the house if she takes dance classes, so now that the house belongs to Anupamaa too, will she take dance classes?

Babuji's decision is a big moment not just for Anupamaa, but for the show and the society too. The society where a daughter-in-law is hardly involved in any household affair, this show is breaking stereotypes and how. The upcoming episodes are going to be more engaging and entertaining, especially with this new development, so don't forget to watch your favorite show "Anupamaa".

Produced by Rajan Shahi and his mother Deepa Shahi under their banner Shahi Productions Pvt Ltd, "Anupamaa" airs at 10 p.m. on Star Plus.
