MUMBAI : Bigg Boss is one of the most successful reality shows on television and today, it's number one.

Bigg Boss 17 has been one of the most successful seasons and got a very good TRP rating, which is why the show was extended till mid-February.

Last Year Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 was super successful where Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of the show and Abhishek Malhan as the first runner up of the show which streamed on JioCinema.

Salman Khan returned as the host of the show in this season as well.

We had earlier reported that the new season will begin from the first week of June.

But this year unfortunately, Salman Khan won't be hosting the show due to date issues and Anil Kapoor will be taking over as the host.

The speculation of Anil Kapoor coming as the host of the show was almost confirmed when the promo of the show was released and at the end the tag line said that this season would be 'Jhakaas'

That's when the fans and audience got confirmation that Anil Kapoor will be hosting this season.

The fans are disappointed as they feel that only Salman Khan can host the show and no else can do as for him the show has become personal and he doesn't follow any script or anything.

While some feel that Anil Kapoor might be fit but still what Salman Khan does no one can do the contestants and the house becomes like family for him and it will be difficult for the audience to see someone else as the host.

Sheena Panwar: I was taken aback when I came to know that Salman Khan wasn't the host of the show as not seeing him around would be difficult as he seems to be perfect host for the show. But it will be interesting to see Anil Kapoor as the host of the show.

Priya Bakshi: I am upset to now see Salman Khan hosting the show. Bigg Boss is his baby and he has made his brand today too difficult to see someone else hosting and not him.

Karan Sharama: Bigg Boss is incomplete with Salman Khan and no one can host the show like him. He is so candid and so upfront but would like to give Anil Kapoor a chance and see the change but am sure the audience would miss Salman.

Naina Kapoor: I am sad that I wouldn't be able to see Salman Khan as the host of the show but it will be a refreshment to see Anil Kapoor as the host of the show as something different to offer but somewhere I know no one can host the show like Salman Khan.

Kabir Sen: Salman Khan is the heart and life of Bigg Boss it's going to be very weird to not see him host the show and someone else sitting on his chair it will take time for the audience to get used to it but one should give a chance to see how Anil Kapoor will be the host of the show but for me Salman will forever be the best host of Bigg Boss.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans would love to see Salman Khan as the host of the show and would miss watching him this season.
