MUMBAI: There is some fantastic news for fans of two hit films that captivated the hearts of fans with the leads’ sizzling chemistry and a story that touched many hearts. We are talking about Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, and Tamasha starring Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s story revolves around Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer Singh), a vivacious Punjabi boy, and Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt), a Bengali journalist, who are drawn towards each other despite their contrasting personalities and upbringing. The Karan Johar directorial’s cast also includes Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan

Tamasha, which released in 2015  features Ved (Ranbir Kapoor), a happy-go-lucky traveller, and Tara (Deepika Padukone), a passionate girl, who cross paths on a vacation to Corsica. The film is directed by Imtiaz Ali. Apart from these two films, Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza starrer Ved will also hit cinemas on 24th May.

The re-release of films in cinemas is a strategic move by makers to pull in people back to theatres after the pandemic and also give an opportunity to people to experience the films on the big screens who previously might have missed it.
