MUMBAI: Written and directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, ‘Rockstar’ movie is no less than a masterpiece which really changed the dynamics of love in cinema. Be it the actors, the director’s vision, the scenes, the music by AR Rehman or the lyrics by Irshad Kamil, everything was loved about this movie and it really took the audience to a heartbreaking, yet beautiful journey of J.J.

The movie has completed 12 years and while Ranbir Kapoor has given many hits after this movie, nothing compares to the intensity, heartbreak and chemistry we got to see here. Recently we got to watch Imtiaz Ali’s new movie Amar Singh Chamkila featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The movie is once again based on a singer’s life and this time it’s based on a real-life story.

Watching this movie, a part of the audience couldn’t help but go back in time take the experience of Rockstar. As we are getting to watch a lot of remakes and sequences, there are fans who are demanding a sequel to Rockstar with some really interesting ideas that are worth checking out. Raja Mishra: Bohot acha lagega agar JJ ki behen ko dikhaya jayega as a musician. Agar who JJ ko dekh ke badi hui ho, uske bhai ko trauma se guzarte hua dekh agar woh ek rockstar bani jo pyaar karne se darti hot oh bada mazaa aayega dekhne me.

Sapna Dhar: I think it’ll be amazing if Ranbir Kapoor’s younger sister grows up but accidentally becomes a rockstar and discovers the gift of singing and understands more about what her brother must have gone through while he will be shown to be in jail.

Riddhi Bannerjee: Listen! How about Mandy growing up in a trauma of what love does to a person and slowly as she gets attracted towards a classical singer, he opens her up and she finally releases her pain? I think it’ll be great to see a classical twist this time and instead of a girl showing the way, for a change it’ll be a guy.

Prateek Chouhan: This is just a ‘what if’ but how about Nargis’ sister and Ranbir Kapoor’s sister both grow up in two different corners of the world but when Mandy comes to know about JJ’s sister trying to be an upcoming artist, Mandy becomes a villain to take revenge from her? However, JJ’s sister successfully becomes a singer and in the end forgives Mandy while she realizes her mistake.
