Earlier, Anirudh lashed out at Jhanak as she was fasting for the wedding as per Avinash’s instructions. She was feeling uneasy and fainting so he asked her to eat something before the rituals got started. She refused to eat anything. Anirudh was angry with her and told her that she had only identity as Avinash’s wife. Anirudh asked her to be familiar with being an obedient wife as it was her identity from now onwards. Anirudh told her his blessings were with her and left.   

Choton asks Anirudh to attend Jhanak’s wedding but he refuses, Choon asks him whether he cannot see Jhanak getting married. Anirudh goes to the wedding mandap but he is mesmerised to see Jhanak coming as bride. While he was clicking pictures.

Now, Jhanak’s marriage rituals start. As she is about to fall, Anirudh moves ahead to hold her but mistakenly she puts a garland on Anirudh instead of the groom. Everyone is stunned by it and as the ritual begins Jhanak gets suspicious about the groom being Tejas.

She keeps the condition that she has followed everything that everyone had told her but now they have to listen to her. She keeps the condition that she won't marry until she sees the face of the groom and gets up from the mandap.
