MUMBAI : The wedding of Ishaan and Savi in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is the center of attention. Viewers will finally get to see their reunion after months of waiting. Happiness won't last long since Ishaan's character will be bumped out from the show.

Although the production company and the channel stayed silent about the leap, it has been confirmed that Shakti Arora has quit the show. The gifted actor will leave the romance drama behind as its makers set to unveil a new chapter.

Producer Rajesh Singh had earlier denied the rumors of a leap. However, the creative team decided to add a new male to the main character to change the plot. It has been confirmed that Hitesh Bharadwaj will take Shakti Arora's place as Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin's new hero.

"The Udaariyaan actor fits the bill perfectly for the new hero. We liked his audition as he nailed it completely. He also looks good when paired with Bhavika Sharma. So, we decided to go ahead with the casting," a source told the popular news portal.

The Choti Sarrdaarni actor will be joined by Varun Jain (Diya Aur Baati Hum), Anuj Khanna (Naagin 6), Kaveri Priyam (Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke) following the leap. A few actors including Bhavika Sharma have been retained by the production house.

An intriguing peek at the upcoming track was revealed on Star Plus' official Instagram account. It hinted at the separation of Ishaan and Savi during the wedding.

In response to the Ishvi fans who are unhappy with the leap, Bhavika Sharma posted a heartfelt message. She expressed her gratitude and blessing at being cast in the Savi character in Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Mein.

"Savi is a strong-headed and independent woman; she has her own thinking and voices her opinions. This one year of portraying Savi has been one-of-a-kind, and with each new day comes new learning. While portraying Savi, I have given heart and soul, and the fans have resonated with Savi. The reunion and reconciliation are a gift for all the Ishvi fans. I am thankful and grateful for Ishvi fans who have showered with love, appreciation, and applause," Bhavika said in a statement as quoted as saying by the popular news portal.
