MUMBAI : Zayn Ibad Khan is a well known actor in the entertainment business.

He rose to fame with his character in the web series on Hotstar tittled ‘Aashiqana’ which was a huge success and he became a household name.

The actor soon will be seen in COLORS upcoming show ‘Suhagaan Chudail’

He is the lead in the show along with Nia Sharma and Debchandrima Singha Roy.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him how different this character is from the previous one and spoke about working with his co actress Nia and Debchandrima.

How different is this character from your previous one?

I think as an actor it's going to be challenging for me as this guy is fighting a constant battle between the mind and love like how he needs to protect his love from evil and himself. This character is always confused and is having complex emotions and I do love the girl and the witch and what is going to save him is the love of two girls and thus this show talks about the power of love and this character is today’s guy and in something I can connect with him.

Tell us something about your co – actor Debchandrima Singha Roy?

She is very hard working and when we are shooting a scene she doesn’t speak to anyone as she concentrating on her lines a she is not familiar with the language of Hindi and only two months ago she has learnt the language and she doesn’t talk to anyone on the sets as she is so focused on work and her lines.

How did the ice break between Debchandrima and you?

To be honest, there wasn’t any ice break as I said that she is only learning her lines and hence there wasn’t any time to break the ice and all.

How excited are you to Romance Nia Sharma on screen?

I am not excited to romance a particular person. It's my job as an actor and what the scripts demand I will do. I am paid for it and I would never get excited to romance any heroine in this world.
