MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, recently directed the film Laal Salaam, which featured her father in an extended cameo. The film received critical acclaim but did poorly at the box office. The film was about social harmony and was set against the backdrop of a cricket tournament. Despite receiving high praise from reviewers, the movie did poorly at the box office. Aishwarya has recently made headlines once again for the purchase of a beautiful home in Chennai that has a view of the beach.

In January 2022, Aishwarya moved out of her ex-husband Dhanush's house after they split up. She moved in with her parents at their house after that, along with her kids Yatra and Linga. She recently purchased a new house, which she plans to move into shortly with her kids. The Grahapravesam of the house recently took place while the infrastructure for this house had been built. At the function, star Rajinikanth and his spouse Lata Rajinikanth both congratulated their daughter.

A video of Rajinikanth touring the house and appreciating the interior design is going viral on social media right now. Aishwarya has decorated that house with care and attention to every detail. She has sculpted the house with interior designs, marble artefacts and mesmerizing paintings. In the video, she shows her father, Rajinikanth, around the house and he looks impressed.

After being apart for more than two years, Aishwarya and Dhanush filed for divorce at the Chennai family court last month. They reportedly filed the case under Section 13 B, which allows for divorce by consent. In January 2022, the two decided to part ways. The news at the moment stunned their fan base to no end. On January 17, 2022, Dhanush and X announced their separation, calling it quits on their 18-year marriage. In a similar message, Aishwarya asked for privacy while they're going through their separation on her social media profile.
