2) Dangal (Netflix): Directed by ‘Nitesh Tiwari’ starring ‘Aamir Khan’, ‘Sanya Malhotra’, ‘Fatima Sheikh’, tells the awe inspiring real life story of ‘Geeta’ and ‘Babita Phogat’ whose father ‘Mahavir Phogat’ trains the two to become wrestlers despite the social stigmas. 3) Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Disney+ Hotstar): Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed starring ‘Farhan Akhtar’ as Milkha Singh, who overcomes great hurdles to become a world champion and India’s iconic athletes. This film, deeply emotional combines realism into showing a heartfelt, brave story.

4) Gold (YouTube): directed by Reema Kagti, stars ‘Akshay Kumar’ as ‘Tapan Das’ the manager of an Indian Hockey team and his story of training them to win the team at the upcoming Olympics. Shining with the multi starrer cast, ‘Mouni Roy’, ‘Kunal Kapoor’. ‘Amit Sadh’, ‘Sunny Kaushal’ and more.

5) Budhia Singh Born to Run (YouTube): The real life story about world’s youngest marathon runner, Budhia who ran a 65 kilometre marathon from Bhubaneswar to Puri stars ‘Mayur Mahendra Patole’ and ‘Manoj Bajpai’ as his coach who faced backlash for his unethical trainings. The film shows the unseen complications, realistic, simplistic journey of an athlete and human. And it shows the limits one can push so the other fulfils their dreams and asks at what cost?
