MUMBAI: Junaid Khan made his Hindi film debut with the Netflix release Maharaj, featuring Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari Wagh in key roles. Both critics and audiences praised Junaid's performance and like a proud father Aamir hosted a success bash for Junaid and the entire team of Maharaj today.
Maharaj is based pre historic real life incident, of a journalist Karsandas Mulji played by Junaid, who exposes a political leader on his immoral behavior. Maharaj which is currently trending in the top 10 list on Netflix globally is directed by Malhotra P Siddharth.
Junaid's next project is Ek Din, in which he stars alongside Sai Pallavi. The film also marks his directorial debut and is produced by Aamir Khan's production house. It was shot in Japan. Additionally, Junaid is reportedly working on a romantic comedy co-starring Khushi Kapoor.
