MUMBAI: Abhay is based on real-life crime stories and follows the lead as he solves bizarre murder mysteries while struggling to deal with his own problems. The first season was met with a lot of praise and also marked Kunal Kemmu’s digital debut.

Talking about the new season, the actor said, 'The first season did receive a fantastic response from the audience and this promo will give them a kickstart of what’s to expect from Abhay Pratap Singh, a lot of high stake thrill and gritty action. Season 2 is even more challenging for my character as I am thrilled to announce the promo of Abhay 2 and excited to see how the audience will like this season.'

The minute-long promo showcases even worse crimes and bigger threats for Singh. It is indeed an apt teaser for how dark and edgy the new season claims to be.

Season 2 also stars Sandeepa Dhar, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Deepak Tijori. It has been directed by Ken Ghosh and produced by Firefly Productions. The official release date has not been revealed yet.
