Ae Watan Mere Watan Twitter Review: Sara Ali Khan starrer gets mixed to positive reviews from netizens

MUMBAI: Ae Watan Mere Watan, directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar has been in the news for a while. The film, which stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role, is based on the true story of an underground radio station owned and operated by a courageous young lady who, in 1942, changed the direction of India's freedom movement. The character of Sara Ali Khan is inspired by the freedom fighter Usha Mehta.

The movie has finally released on Amazon Prime and is now available to stream. Renowned Notebook novelist Darab Farooqui wrote the movie while Kannan Iyer of Ek Thi Dayan co-wrote and directed the film.

The film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Alexx O' Neil, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Anand Towari in addition to Sara Ali Khan. In the film, Emraan Hashmi also has a brief cameo. The producers of Ae Watan Mere Watan are Somen Mishra, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar.

While we got to watch the teaser and trailer of the movie earlier, the makers later released the first song from the movie. The song name was Qatra Qatra.

In the song, we was a rebellious side of the public who are ready to fight against the British Raj by putting their lives on the line. The lyrics are really heart-touching and inspirational.

While there are some who feel that Sara Ali Khan has not improved in acting, there are also those who feel that the actress has given a powerful performance.
