MUMBAI: Disney+ Hotstar announced seven big films that will release directly on the digital platform, thereby skipping theatrical release. Kunal Kemmu starrer Lootcase is one of the seven movies due to be premiered on Disney+ Hotstar as the cinemas are shut on account of the lockdown in the country due to the Coronavirus pandemic. To make the big announcement, a virtual press meet was held on Monday. Varun Dhawan was the host of the meet whereas Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, and Akshay Kumar were a part of it and spoke about each of their films. However, Kunal Kemmu's Lootcase and Vidyut Jammwal's Khuda Haafiz got snubbed, as the two actors weren’t present during the announcement.
Vidyut and Kunal both expressed their disappointment over the same, and Kunal Kemmu didn’t openly take names, he did demand an ‘equal playing field’. Now, Abhishek Bachchan, took to his Twitter and expressed his excitement over Kunal Kemmu’s Lootcase. Abhishek tweeted about the trailer of the movie starring Kunal Kemmu and Rasika Duggal and mentioned in the tweet as to how this was his and his father Amitabh Bachchan’s favourite trailer. The tweet read, “Most excited for this. It’s mine and dad’s favourite trailer. All the very best, buddy.”
