MUMBAI: Taapsee Pannu has once again proven her mettle with the overwhelming response to her latest release, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. In a world where sequels often face the burden of high expectations, Taapsee's portrayal of Rani has not only lived up to the legacy of the first film but has taken it to new heights. Reflecting on the overwhelming response, Taapsee shared, "Doing a sequel is always tricky because the first one comes with no expectations, and if people like it, it becomes a hit. But with sequels come expectations, which are always tricky to meet. I am glad people have loved Rani and the film more than part 1.I knew how much people loved Rani from Part 1 So I kept those expectations in mind when I approached the next part."

This August is undoubtedly Taapsee’s month, marked by two major releases that further solidify her position as a powerhouse in the industry. With Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Taapsee not only shoulders the weight of a female-led franchise but also redefines what it means to lead from the front. Her fans and critics alike are already buzzing with anticipation for what’s next in store, with Taapsee hinting at the future, "This response has been so validating that I’m already looking forward to what all we can possibly do in the next part."

Directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba features Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Sunny Kaushal in pivotal roles. The film, produced by Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films, premiered on Netflix on August 9, 2024
