MUMBAI: Bigg Boss is all set to come back with a new season, which will premiere 8 August on the digital platform Voot. 

This year, the show is coming up with a new format, where first, it will stream on the OTT platform and eventually venture into television. 

The show will run for three months on the OTT platform and then eventually go on air on television.

OTT Bigg Boss will be hosted by Karan Johar, and later, on television, it will be hosted by Salman Khan.

A few names that have been confirmed for the show are Divya Agarwal, Patik Sejpal, Karan Nath, Anushka Dandekar, and Ridhima Pandit. 

As per media reports, Shamita Shetty has been approached for the show owing to the controversy surrounding her, though there is no confirmation on the same.

Shamita has participated on the show before in season 3 but had to leave mid–way as Shilpa was getting married. 

At times, the makers want to lock celebrities who are grabbing headlines at that point in time.

There is be a possibility that she could be part of the show, considering they do call ex-contestants. 

Well, if there is any truth to this news, then it would be interesting to see the actress locked in the house.
